David Pulgar is a writer and photographer of little consequence. Fleeing the heat, humidity and rising tides of South Florida, he found sanctuary in the Shenandoah Valley. David enjoys perching himself like a cat on scenic lookouts at Shenandoah National Park and thinking about gravity. He is the son of Cuban refugees who fled a communist dictatorship only to be disappointed by the child, David, who passed up a career in computer science to take pictures and type words for a living. (They’re not actually disappointed. It’s just part of the culture.) When not taking pictures or writing stories, David is thinking about why he isn’t taking pictures and writing stories.
